HARM NONE Harm None. Sounds easy enough. But, is it? Think about it. How do you get through your daily life and not cause any harm to anyone. That includes you. So let's start there. Cause no harm to yourself. That means living in such a way that you treat yourself kindly. You'll have to give up that negative inner voice that says you're not good enough or you're too fat or you don't deserve good in your life. For some that is a habit developed over years and years of constant external and internal affirmation. It's time to stop my friend. If you weren't a worthy, valid person you wouldn't be here. The fact that you are here, living, breathing is all the validation you should need to acknowledge your self-worth. So the time has come to Be Good To Yourself. Let me say that again.... BE GOOD TO YOURSELF!!!!! God wants you to be good to yourself. Treat yourself kindly. Speak to yourself kindly. When that inner voice starts yammering away at you with all that negative garbage, stop..... take a breath and be kind to yourself. Say...... I am a good, loving, worthy person! I deserve all good things in life! This is the truth of it! God wants you to feel good about yourself. If your religion does not promote this idea, I suggest it's time for you to take a good hard look at what you truly believe and ask for guidance from above. Maybe your religion is not supporting you in a way that is truly inspiring you to go with God. Cause no harm to others. One of the primary ways we harm others is with our own negativity. Our negative words and thoughts to and about others. It's time for that to stop. I am as guilty of this injustice as anyone. It's something I struggle with every day. For every single day, it seems, we encounter someone who is ignorant (and by that I mean uneducated, unenlightened, uncaring) and causes an immediate negative reaction from us. When that happens it is time to step back a moment and take another look at the person/ situation. No one can actually make you feel that sort of negativity unless you allow it. Do not allow it! I cannot stress this strongly enough. You must not let it affect you. I would like to make a suggestion. The next time you have an encounter that incites a negative reaction try thinking about the situation as if the absolute opposite had happened. Change your reaction and you can change your world.
